Your kindness

e

Over time I have recieved so many kind and encouraging words from you all BUT also I have received a number of inquiries about the possibility of donating towards the cats I rescue. I've been wondering about how to make this possible AND HERE IT IS!!

I am delighted to introduce these quality cards made from a selection of my favorite images of the cats that I have rescued and I love the idea of them now being part of raising funds for themselves. These cards are now listed in my Etsy shop and ALL proceeds goes towards food, neutering and medical care for all the cats (and the dumpster cats I daily feed). Winter has set in and feral cats just keeps dropping into the garden and I've finally given up counting the numbers! But I now daily feed approximately 45 cats and as you can imagine the cost constantly rise and I won't compromise on the quality of food. Many of the cats that live in the wild desperately needs a proper food to keep them warm.

You can donate/purchase in the following way:
One large blank card with a colored image mounted on carton (that enhances the colors in the image) for $5  or a set of three small blank cards with black/white images mounted on black carton (and a white paper slip inside for your message) for $10.

Whether it's one large card or a small set of three cards - they all come with white envelopes and a label on the back with the  Pythagoras quote I use under my blog title: "We share with animals the privilege of having a soul." Cards and envelopes are neatly tied with a burlap string and carefully wrapped in tissue paper.

You can see the collection here on my Etsy shop - and I'll add more over the next few days. For any further inquiries about the cards please leave a comment or drop me a note: joanbowell@mail.dk

THANK YOU!

Hi Joan. I want to thank you so much for the lovely gifts I received today. I was touched by the St. Francis ornament and love the towel and wooden cats. All things I adore. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You take time out of your busy day to be so kind to not only cats but cat-lovers, too. You are so sweet, my friend. I will purchase some cards in the next few days. They are beyond beautiful. Hugs to you and to all the little kitties. Deb

That is such a good idea to sell the cards to make a little money. I need to show ML your blog and tell her about all your animals. She is the gal that runs the Cat Blogosphere and she just adores people that help to rescue animals. She is the one that is really behind these auctions and I would like to do an auction for you but I have to get her in on the deal. Unfortunately, she is very sick at the moment. But I will sure try soon.
Dear Joan,
this is truly a great idea and such a cute photo. But I can't find your etsy shop. May be you will give the link later.
Best greetings, Johanna

Hey, I just found your blog and as an animal and cat lover I am hooked! Can't wait to read more on the cats that you rescued! I currently foster 3 kittens from the cat shelter and I volunteer daily there as well. I also feed a bunch of strays. It has been so great to find someone who shares the love for our feline friends.

Your products have that touching extra quality which is rare and very delicate. It will be such a delight support your great work for God's Little People and will do it soon. All your photos are pieces of real art and the hand stiched textiles-art have so much to give... LOVE THEM...Looking at your produce it makes me wonder how on earth do you find the time to do so many wonderful and good things all at the same time? How and what kind of octopus arms is it necessary to grow to do all these amazing deeds you do from rescuing the little ones, protecting and curing them of many illnesses and go thrue all kind of experiences with the little ones in Greece and offering them your unconditional love, taking pictures and writing great stories on your blog and then as if this was not enough find the time to be a real artist where the art supports a function and the function inspires the art?
Dearest Joan,

What a great idea! This is something for Thanksgiving here in the USA... TRUE Thanksgiving for God's Little People!!!
As soon as I'm back home I have to do something about it. For now, lots of love from Toronto, Canada,

Mariette
Ohhh I LOVE IT! I am heading over right now!

Dearest Joan,
What noble and caring work you are doing for the wee kittens. You have a good and open heart, and I love what you are doing with the cards to raise money for their care. I just watched a TV documentary where the woman had a similar heartfelt need to help abandoned cats, and she was looking after over 700 cats! So, be careful... Once the word gets out that you are someone who cares, you will get cats, and lots of them. I will certainly head over to your shop so I can support your cause. Good luck, sweet lady!
x, Val
